Tire rotation pattern question

I searched and saw that some people rotate just front to back and some cross like the manual says. I guess that it doesnt really matter as long as the tires arent directional? If they are directional do they say clearly on them? Mine are stock goodyear so I assume that it dosent matter which way I do it - Ive just never had a vehicle that crossed, just front to back.

If your tires are "P" rated you should follow the passenger car rotation pattern. Fronts cross sides to the rear and the rear tires move to the front on the same side they were on. That is the pattern I use and it keeps the wear even and minimizes feathering of the tread blocks.
