Air Bags with lift?

I was just wondering if anyone was running airbags in the rear with a lift on a F150. I was thinking about added the ones from Firestone. I believe they also make a spacer that allows you to run them with a lift. If not I know Tough Country makes a spacer. Wouldn’t this help just like an AAL? It should help the ride also, right? I’ve never had airbags before so is this a good or bad idea? What are the pros and cons?

Thanks...

If you do tow, they are awesome. The ride with a trailer or when loaded is nice and smooth. They also act as a anti-sway bar preventing roll in the corners if you ride around with 10-20psi in them. I personally ride around with 30psi in them because i like the firmer ride and load my truck so much it keeps me from adding or removing air every time.

anthony,

Did you need to replace the rear shocks to compensate for the higher ride height?

I'm guessing you will have to add a spacer or something to off set my lift, correct?

Yes. Also if you plan on off-roading hard.. (ie. rear suspension leaving the ground it is recommended you remove all the air from the bags. this should also be done when jacking up there rear end.)

That and exhaust heat are the only things i would be worried about.

What kind of spacer did you have? Where did you get it from? Thanks...
