Clearance Lights

Hey guys...im wondering if anyone has any clearence lights on the roof of their truck. If your unsure of what they are...they are the yellow lights on the roof that come on the superduty. I think they look real cool on the 250s and up. Anyone have pics? thanks

I've got them on mine. You can buy the SD lights and a harness from one of the on-line Ford dealers for about $55. I like the look and when you run backroads at night oncoming traffic tends to give you a little more room when they see a truck coming towards them.

I don't have any pictures, if I get a chance I'll take some.
The light assembly is F81Z-15442-AA, I paid $6.76 a piece.
The harness is 1C3Z-15A404-AA, $22.60.
The harness plugs on to the lights but you still need to splice in to you parking lights somewhere.

have you ever had any problems with the roof leaking? i assume that you had to drill holes where the lights are?

No leaks that I'm aware of. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow.

c'mon, we're not driving 18-wheeler big rigs here!

Devin, if anything, if you got the Lund lighted moon visor like 04 Red Lariat's old truck, that would look much cleaner and also look pretty cool...
