where can i find my build number? do these truck even have them?

The last six digits of your VIN is your sequence number, not sure about the "build" though.

The 11th position of the VIN indicates the Assembly Plant.

The last six positions, (12-17) are the sequence number.

The first unit off the line is sequence number A00001.
After 99,999 units are built, the 100,000th unit has sequence number B00000

If a given plant built 300,000 trucks,
'A' would be an early build
'B' trucks would be mid-year builds
'C' would be late year builds.

This is helpful when Ford institutes a 'mid-year' model change.

If some 'B' trucks did not get the modification then you know by default that :

None of the A trucks got it.
and
All of the C trucks got it.
