Don't break your rear window
I got dropped by my insurance company (homeowner and auto in one) because I had 2 claims on my house, 1 "inquiry" which counted as a claim, and get this, 2 claims on the house BEFORE I owned it. Like was said, the insurance companies will get their money back some way or another, trust me, been there.
The thread was not started to rant about how much my deductible is, it was to let it be known how ridiculously expensive window is. The reason I have a $1000 deductible is because I can afford it if something minor goes wrong. With the money I saved in the last 15 years by having it at $1000 I'm sure it paid for the glass. If someone were to vandalize my truck and it cost $3000 to fix then it would come in handy. Just wanted to let everyone know it isn't a cheap date. Also for a $400 window claim who knows what kind of increase "the man" would hit me with. Well the after market window is in and it looks as good as original.
