i need your help!!!

ok.........this might seem silly, but i need to know. i have an 06 4x2 SCrew lariat 5.4 LS 3.73....my wife has the basic xlt explorer with the new RSC.....we are heading to the great smoky mountains in a few weeks and there is always a chance of snow this time of the year...........my question is........which truck would be better to the trip....i say mine, but wife says hers........i know more about trucks than she does and she admits that, but wants someone elses opinion.........i think mine due to the LS rearend......she thinks hers for the RSC which stands for Roll Stability Control.(like that would help if we are stuck in the snow).....any opinions would be great....thanks

If hers is 4wd or AWD, definitely hers. Limited slip is nice, but without ant weight in the rear, a PU can be a pain unless you load it up or have 4wd.

yeah cause your rear end being so light will slide all over the place.

my buddy just totaled his 05 150 today because he hydroplaned and his back end went all over the place...off the road and flipped.

only take yours if hers is not 4WD or AWD

Your wife's 2wd Explorer will be much, much better than your 2wd F150 in the snow.

Wow... by the original 'tone' of this post, you'd think that someone was getting ready to bleed out and that a puppy was going to die unless someone IMMEDIATELY responded!

BTW, while you're down there... be sure to hit the Pancake Pantry there in Gatlinburg. The *best* French Toast on the face of the earth! Don't let the line spook you; they move QUICK!

Are you going to Gatlinburg or Pidgeon Forge, or find a cabin out in the boonies? In any case, you are in for a beautiful trip... very good restaurants there... and definitely take the Exploder - ask your wife to pack extra suitcases for weight, then add more weight by loading it down more with souveniers once you get there, and oh yeah, eat a TON, that will help as well (I'm just thinking of your safety, of course....)
