anyone here ever race an 06 colorado with the 3.5 inline 5 banger? i have and he wins every time.. reason i mention it is cause another friend has a ranger with the 4.0L and i can beat him every time.

I had a Chevy roll up next to me the other night. I thought briefly about running with him. But since I dont have anything on my rig yet, havent installed my edge yet(not like it would of mattered), I chose to not play along with him. Good thing too,,,,as he passed me, I noticed the rims and the SS on the side. "NICE" is all I could say.

Good Move!! That would not have been pretty.... lol I made that mistake a while back... Picture this.. Chevy SS f150 (4.6) Only thing I beat him on was the hole-shot.... then I blinked and it was over.... Hey... I finished 2nd though!! That's not bad (is it)

I was looking at the three "Sport" Trucks between Dodge, Chevy, and Ford.
Seems like Ford "typically" has the underpowered truck. This time GM dropped the ball as the SS is the least in HP /TRQ of the Lighting, and the SRT-10. Kind of had to ask myself.... "what were they thinking?"
