Do these toolboxes, such as the UWS Low Pro, still leave enough room to slide an 8' 2x4 board over the tailgate and down under the tool box. I find myself picking up a handful of boards a couple times a month, and would hate to have to put the tailgate down to pickem up. In fact, unless I'm getting a full load of lumber, I always load it on the closed tailgate for ease of transport and to avoid having to get out the straps.

Thanks.

On mine I have about 10" beneath to load plywood and stuff in. I also have the deep one.

I'm not sure I follow exactly what you are asking but I've yet to be limited because of my toolbox.

I don't want a toolbox in my F-150, because it has the 5.5' bed. But, I had a pro-tech in my '96 Ranger and my brother had one in his 01 F250. I wouldn't buy another brand.

However, Pro-Tech doesn't have any slick geometries to hide or minimize box height. UWS has some cool solutions on this.

I like the tool box you got, that is the one I'm looking for. I like the sub box too. BTW my Randy Rogers Band cd's sound great on my Audiophile system.

How did you get it for $100??? Share the hookup my fellow Houstonian.

I don't know the part number off hand, and it's too cold and dark to go outside and look at the box. I'm not even sure if it's on there. I'll check tomorrow.
