Modding is TOO addictive. speed>wallet

I decided to get 4:10 gears as my next performance mod. I kept thinking i'll be happy after my intake.....nah maybe i'll be happy after my pulleys and tuner....i think i'll def be done after my maggie....really gets to me when im still trying to catch up to my friends stock 5.3l......cmon 4.6 GO!!

Anyways to the point. I really think there has to be a cheaper place than 4wheelparts. I plan on buying the whole gear package and get a local place to install the gears. So wheres a cheap place to order ford racing, precision gears.

After gears, i really dont know what my next mod is going to be, any suggestions? Still waiting for a more reliable efan kit. So besides fans what should my next performance mod be. My current mods are in my sig.

I get all excited to get in my truck with my few mods...i wonder what it's like to have a blower, or 8inch rize...Yall crazy *** modders! keep it up

thx, guys

Ive got a ton of bolt-on mods on my truck. it's still not fast enough... Only place to go is supercharger.

I've got the money set aside for the blower.. I just don't wanna spend it.... yet.

I'm looking into buying one about january or so.... Just get a blower man... it's the nly way to go... bolt-on get you nothing but wanting more and an empty wallet...

I want 4.10s too, but i dont have any money. So yah not anytime soon. Dont forget your gonna need to get a programer, or something to adjust the speedo for the 4.10s

Did you have factory 3.55s or 3.73s?

Just a suggestion, don't buy the gears outright, at least not yet. Lots of shops will only put in gears you buy from them, others will use gears you supply, but only want put in some brands. So do your phone calling first and find out what the shop you pick recomends.
On prices, I see them on e-bay, new from vendors, not used from members, at a lot better prices than local.
Keep us posted. That's my next serious mod too.

IMO, telling a computer a credit card number # is way too easy!

Since i'm only doing my rear gears, im hoping to spend about $250 for gears and $250 for labor.

Anyone have experience with going from 3:55 gears to 4:10 gears with stock tires?
