I just had to re-torque my lug nuts, as an experiment, I doubled up a dollar bill, not even a new one, and it is not as tight as you may think. It went between the OE wheel and the hub quite a way before it met any resistance. That resistance was mainly dirt. I am not saying that the center hole isn't perfectly centered, but there is a reason why they use acorn style lug nuts. Also, you do not hear of the problems that we all had with the 97-03 with wheels that didn't want to come off because they were corroded to the hub.
