Ive Sold My Truck

Guys Ive sold my truck now I am needing a 04-05 Supercrew 4x4 with decent miles. I have called on a few around here but no luck. What should I be looking at to pay for one of these? When i find one IM getting Leveling kit, 35's on stock wheels, and edge. Also which would normally have a better interest rate private party or dealership? Thanks

Um as far as i know most private parties dont offer financing haha..

As for what you should pay that depends.. What config are you looking at? 4x2 4x4? Reg, Super, SCrew Cab? Lariat, FX4, XLT, King Ranch?

Without knowing what you want no-one can say.. price could range over $10K

Just start looking in the trader and on lots as well as KBB there are so many variables.. Depending on milage as well.. I know my buddy just picked up a '05 F150 Screw 4x4 Lariat (well equiped) with 17K miles for $21K

what truck did you have before??

Some dealerships have some trade-in 04-05 f150s. With what you are looking for I would say it would range around low 20K high teens depending on condition, mileage, etc. I bet you could find an xlt for around $17K.

I had a 06 Titan which I loved but I couldnt afford it. Im buying a house so I am downgrading and thought I would try a Ford again my last one wasnt so good but i love the nwer F-150's. I called on a 04 Lariat earlier with 32,000 miles they wanted 26,900 for it thats crazy. There is nothing really around here in the truck trader. Im willing to drive to get one if I have too. They say Texas has cheap trucks. I live right outside Memphis, Tn.

I would keep the Titan. Its going to cost you more in the long run to sell yours and buy another truck.

If you must buy one, get a 4x2 unless you really are going off road. Less parts to break/maintain.

if you get an 04 make sure to test drive it and check for the vibe people talk about.

You're not gonna make many friends around here talkng like that.......

J/K

I live in the Dallas, Texas area and I dont know why people think the trucks are cheaper here. Yeah, there are plenty of them but people here love their full size trucks. I doubt you'd save much $$$ if any traveling from Tn to Tx to buy a truck. Good luck and I hope you have better luck w/ your next Ford than you did w/ your last.

Hmmm the "down grading" remark is debatable but we dont want to open that can of worms again. I will leave it at that.

What I meant by downgrading was based on a note. Not from Nissan to Ford

I knew what you meant also. Out of curiousity, what was the year and model of your last Ford and what were the issues w/ it?
