I am gonna have to come out and say it, some of these are really gawdy looking boxes.

Bushtree's box looks like someone put a big rock in the back seat. The one that is not his that he posted.

And to paraphrase one of my friends, anarchy customs does to some extent look like a 2 person toilet.

A good sub box should blend in with the rest of the truck, not stick out like a sore thumb.

dudd thats your opinion. some people like it that way to show. some people need to do it for the subs they want. some both reasons.

i would love to make mine show, and to be able to fit like 3 10' or 2 12's like they have. but i didnt have the money at the time.

do you ever go to car/truck shows and look in magazines. none of those guys have theres hidden or blended into the truck to where they are unable to be seen. they are all out of the ordinary.....hanging from the ceiling....sitting in the dash. everywhere.

There is a difference between the ones at car shows that are made to hang from every location are made to be shown off. They also generally fit in with the rest of the vehicle.

The ones I pointed out stand out like a sore thumb. Its one thing to be flashy when the rest of the vehicle is, but to have a single item stand out that badly isn't the best solution.

And patshea098, you are correct that it is only my opinion, but there is no need for just the people that like how some things look to post.

You're entitled to your opinion and that's fine. But a lot of people want something different for their trucks other than the carpeted, under the rear seats box. And to be honest, you don't really notice that box much in the truck. It looks huge sitting on the ground but its not really that big. The seats cover most of the sides and the arm rest covers the top. So really all you see is two portions with the subs.
Just out of curiosity, what do you think would look good for our trucks?

Well for what I think looks good in our trucks is either a very well made underseat box that is upward facing on the subs that blends in with the vehicle

or

if you want something flashy and stylish make it fit with the truck. Having it stand out like a sore thumb in a the cab ruins it.

You're not alone Piccolo, some of those boxes just don't look right to me either.
It just depends on what you want to do though.
