Ive been thinking about doing this for a while now. Ive had 5% on the windows since the truck was new, but it always seemed lighter since the truck has the light charcoal interior and a LARGE windsheild. Anyways, I saw a harley davidson f150 driving thru my hood yesterday with the windsheild tinted and DAMN did it look clean.... so I called up the shop and am having it put on tomorrow morning first thing. Anyone else done it on here? Hows visibility? Pics?

All my trucks have had tinted windshields. To me 35% is perfect.

What % do you have on the back and sides?

 

Its 5% over 15% on the sides and back glass

 

i have 15% all the way around, visability is like driving with sunglasses on. I almost feel as if i can see better not haveing the glare from everything. Its illegal, but only if caught. PLus its a non moving violation so they have to pull you over for something else first. I've never had any issue on any of the past three vechiles living in florida.

 

How much do you think it would cost to tint my front 2 windows and my windsheild to match my rear windows? i have a 04' f150 if that matters at all

 

it cost me 150 for all 6 windows.

 

Does anyone no what percent the back sides are??

 

The back factory tint is around 18%

 

i have a black on black fx4 i have 5 on the two fronts and 15 on the backs on top of factory to match the 5 i also had 30 on the winsheild and at night it was so dark it was hard to see not to mention here in s florida cops are ****s and i got like 5 tint tickets but its worth it u dont have to wear shades best of luck buddy

 

I would like to do this but little worried about the inspection and tags what do you do when you go to get inspection? I can just see the guy with the razer blade ! I have not posted much hope this is the right way

 

Here are some pics of 35% tint on windsheild with 5% on front and over factory 18% on the green truck and on my Black truck it has 35% on the windsheild with double 20% (the limo tint at my installer didnt match the color of my rear windows) on the 2 front doors with 20% over factory on rear.
Makes driving in the day 10 times better, night isnt much noticable (specialy having HID), Tickets here in FL are 74.50 and are non-moving. (no points)
