2007 Trailer Tow Mirrors

So, I am looking for the new trailer tow mirrors that have/will come out on the 2007's. Has anybody got a 2007 with them on it, yet? I have a 2007 Lariat with the chrome mirrors included with chrome package, but want trailer tow mirrors instead. If I could find them, I'd be willing to swap, trade, or work out a deal on my standard power chrome Lariat mirrors. Has anyone seen them as aftermarket, yet? Ford, not the Saffernacker. Thanks.

Smoke

Wanna trade mirrors then? I had always wanted the chrome mirror caps like yours but i got the TTT mirrors. They are great for towing.

Heres a link to my thread and you can go to the write up i did on them and view other pictures...

TTKU, The 2007 trailer tow mirrors are more like the Super Duty mirrors. I believe there is a picture in the photo gallery on fordvehicles.com

Well, my parts guy at my dealer looked up the 2007 trailer tow mirror part numbers, and after he quoted the price of some 350 odd dollars a piece , I'll make some out of some old make-up mirrors and duct tape for that price! Jeeesh!

And, on edit, I really don't care for the Shaffenackers (the 2004-2006 style). They remind me of the old Tahoe and Suburban mirrors.

What are the part #'s I have a friend at my dealer that gives me a discount. I can see how much that would be.

btw, I have the same mirrors as trytokeepup only mine are OEM Ford mirrors. But are probably still made by Saffernacker.

You got a pretty good price to. My buddy said they list for 291 and he could sell them to me for 200 each and they are heated with power and a puddle light. I ask about chrome cover for them and he said there not listing any yet. They come with a serviceable cover that's paint to match. There not in inventory yet anywhere he could find. He suspects there only on the assembly line currently and should be available late Dec. or Jan. but not 100% sure on that.
I like the clearance lights with the chrome covers mine have. I think I'll wait to see if they add this to them later.

Same company. Only difference is that my clearance light over is amber and yours is clear.

Id hold off with buying them through ford. Schenaffer will be selling this mirror soon since i believe they still make the mirrors for ford.

I got my mirrors for free to try them out and write a review on them. After talking to Craig from Schenaffer he said they were working on a powerfolding, telescoping mirror and that was 8 months ago. I would suspect he was talking about the new mirrors on the 07's.

That would be cool if those become available. Let me know I would be interested in them. My daughter already hit her head on my drivers side mirror once. I fold them now so that don't happen again.
