post pics of upper control arm angle after front spacer install

just installed the autospring front spacer...the truck is definatly huge now with my 6" procomp, add a leaf, and 3" body lift, put mu upper control arm angle and c/v arms have quite an angle on them, i drove the truck in 2 and 4 wheel drive and have not noticed any problems yet...but that angle worries me a little, can you guys post pics of your upper control arms and 4x4 c/v arms...especially helpfull if you have a similar setup as mine with another form of lift, ie pro comp / fabtech 6"...thanks

The angles may look bad on the CV's but ford made these new trucks with a lot of off angle ability in the CV's, just look at JD's long travel it uses the stock CV's but they do make an upgraded barring if you want to really make the CV's bullet proof.

CV's may be bulletproof I dont know. But I do know the upper a arm balljoints arent bulletproof. More than likely your balljoints will fail before anything happens to the CV joints.

Meaning you torn a boot or the joint failed? Brush will often be the culprit when the boot is torn.

tore the boot which then let all the grease come flying out causing the cv to seize up.

Anything could tear/puncture the boot. Dosent really mean failure of any part.

Ill post up some pics within a few days... my coilovers arent "cranked" to the max, however im not sure what classifies as cranked....I still have about 1/2" of threads left under the lower collar...so i could possibly lift it more - but wont - i still need to get it aligned...prolly not till friday oh and by the way the autospring install was very easy...but the add-a-leaf was a major p.i.t.a.!!! on jackstands and a jack that is not tall enough for my truck...lpus had to cut the leaf retainers off and try to line everything up while applying tension - took me about a day and a half...

as for 460 rwhp...thats on my 03 cobra...ported supercharger, pulley, complete exhuast...its been dynoed a few times...haven't ran on the track yet though...
