Can anybody help me out? I put a leveling kit on my F150, now everybody thinks I have my high beams on all the time!!! Can anybody give me a quick hint on how to adjust my lamps lower? Thanks!

 

you need a 4mm socket or the ford headlamp adjustment tool- you only have vertical adjustment.. when you look down at the top of the headlight, (hood open) you will see a 3/4" inch long hex stud- that is the piece you need to rotate. your manual has aiming specs to get them correct

 

just flash your brights back at em

so friendly this saturday night...

ive got a 2.5" as and 35" tires got flashed seemingly every night... never adjusted them... bought harley lights, haven't been adjusted, and haven't been flashed once...

 

I put Silverstars in and no nobody flashes me about brights.

 

I put tape lines on the garage door after the leveling kit. I lowered the top edge of the "hot spot" the same as my actual lift. Three inches. I've only been flashed once since then (post Silverstars). I didn't mess with the fogs. I used a socket that fit the aiming bolt, and pliers to turn it. That's what I needed to get it done.

Thanks again for the hints. Adjusted them the other day and didn't get flashed once on the drive home!
