Exclamation Electric superchargers? to good to be true

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ELECT...QQcmdZViewItem
.
it seems to good to be true 30hp for 90 bucks. does anyone have one on their f150 and if so will it work with a K&N filter. it makes sense hook it up to the battery and blow more air into your engine...

might work for small motors. But if you have a 5.4L or 4.6L engine its more of an impedance to the airflow. You have to remember that the motor wants about 5.4L of air every 1/2 RPM. I doubt that electric motor will be able to keep up. Search for it as well, tons of info, most bad

Agreed. Crappola.

I think that thing is meant to supercharge the ventilation system

Cheers

Remember, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is..." I would say this falls under that category.

if it gives you 10-20 gains....for 90 bucks...why not? the edge cost 330 and gives what 35 hp? although the edge kicks *** and does have 10X more features.

whenever you create any sort of boost in these trucks you NEED a custom tune weather its going to work or not. if you just slap it on there its going to hurt the engine and throw a CEL

Complete rip off. I have seen one of these pieces of crap personally on a local high school kids rice grinder. Its just a cheap squirrl cage blower all plastic including the cage itself. The heater fan in your truck will put it to shame.
Notice the sellers private feedback, wonder what he's trying to hide.
