Talking Built Ford TOUGH

well last night.....i was in a parking lot that had no lights on in it....and i was leaving...and was backing up.....turned the wheel right to spin around....going say about 12 MPH.

all a sudden thump thump...go up a curb... as im reacting to press the break WHAM....right into a light pole ( i didnt see it...foggy windows due to unspkoken reasons) ...steel of course...im like sh*t!
so i flip it to drive and take off before anyone comes...(neighboorhood pool parking lot around houses haha)

as im driving off the pole has a gash in it, and is now slanted about 15 degrees from vertical.

i get hgome....take a look at my bumper....not a scratch....not a dent..chip...nothing....its exactly how it was before i hit it!
only complaint is....reverse sensors didnt go off untill i hit the damn thing.

Haha nice.

My hitch and hitch cover have saved me from getting a new bumper and tailgate a time or two also

Any pics of the light pole?

the sensors only notice at like below 10mph, or maybe even less.
and they only work for a few feet so if your going that fast back you wont be able to stop in time anyways

The revese sensing system is intended to be a parking aid, not a collision avoidance system.
