Quick Question

Hey guys just wanted to say whats up to everyone already here at the forums! I just got a 05 Maroon F-150 and i love it already! I just wanted to know, seeing all these trucks with lift kits on, if i put on a 2.5' Leveling Kit on my truck would it void my factory warranty? Thanks

Welcome to the forum, there's tons of info out there so learn to use the search tools. Congrats on the new truck.

Aftermarket parts can only void things they are related to. So a leveling kit won't effect a problem with your windows, but it'll probably void the warranty on your ball joints. Even then you may get lucky.

welcome to the forum- i'll give you a little slack- you're new...this topic has been, and still is beat to death daily- theres actually a thread not 6 hrs old over ppl with leveling kits and any issues to date- if you install any leveling kit, and somewhere down the road, your upper control arm ball joints go out, you take it to ford, they will take a peek, see the leveling kit, and say, well the new uca's are 70 apiece and labor is 60/hr with about an hour or two of labor expected...

read up on the Moss Magnusson act (search for it) this deals with aftermarket modifications and factory warranties...

again welcome,

It really depends on the dealer and wether or not they want to do the work or not. My dad had a 97 F150 with the V6 in it and it blew with like 80k miles and ford paid the bill.
