Thumbs down

www.kbb.com shows "excellent condition" as being worth $21,500 in my zip code...he'd have to do a little better-it's not your fault truck pricing gimmicks have put him upside down!

He probably paid about $27 to $28k with the incentives. If he still owes $24k this means he put little or nothing down.

Or he bought early in '05, didn't get the incentives, and overpaid. Plus the warranty is almost used up. I say no deal.

Talking

If it is a loaded (minus sunroof) fx4 screw with floor shifter that truck easily stickered for $37,500~+. My truck was a 2005 Lariat loaded with all but stock subwoofer, sunroof, and 4x4 and my MSRP/sticker was 36,500~. I got it otd with cali taxes for $30,200. so I DOUBT he got his for less than that. I got a pretty darn good deal with full incentives since I paid cash (And I bought it during clearance, it was the last 05 with those options in cali when I got it).

that price seems reasonable, but maybe shoot for closer to 21 or 22.

If you're going to include taxes in your figures, the seller is asking about $25,000.00 for a used two year old truck. Is that a good deal?

Well guys let me ask you this how much could I get a 06 Screw 4x4 Fx4 semi loaded for then? Would this be the better route because of the incentives?

I just bought my 06 F150 XLT 4X4 SCREW for around $30k on X-plan. You should be able to get a better price than that with the incentives and being an 06.
