Slim Toolbox???

Someone on here has a slim tool box that mounts to the front of the bed that is full length across but only about 10-12" deep. Does anyone know who are what brand of tool box that might be?...Thanks

MX81,
I have a 2005 Supercrew and I just installed one of these boxes about 2 weeks ago. It is made by Deflecta-Shield and the only place that I could find that sold it was Cabelas and it was $259. It is the low profile that only sticks up over the bedrail about 2-3 inches, is about 16" deep and 12" wide. In my previous 2002 Supercrew I had a slimline toolbox made by United Welding Services but it was only about 10" wide and 10" deep. I could not haul much more than my receiver hitches and some tow straps. With this newer style box, I can haul hitches, straps, tools, jumper cables, etc. and still have enough room in the bed to haul my Honda Foreman ATV (with the tailgate down, of course). I hope this info helps you.

Cam-Locker has about any size you can think of. My buddy has what you are talking about on his truck. My Cam-Locker is the biggest low profile box they make i believe (deep and wide version). I highly recommend these boxes, and one bonus is that you can add in a remote lock that works with your factory keyless entry. Check out the company's site below. I also included a link to a truck accessories store owned by a friend of mine where where I got mine. I am not sure if he ships, so you might be better off just ordering from American Aluminum Direct. Good luck!

Forum user jperea has a smaller sized toolbox. It's made by Tuffy (see front bed).

Another potential "takes up less room than normal" option is the Challenger toolbox from Cabela's which forum user CFahner has:
