I was wondering if there was anywhere besides a dealership to get the window sticker that came with my truck...I bought it used and it didn't come with one

 

Edmunds.com... of if it was an '05 or '06 you can go to forddirect.com and build the exact truck you have, then locate it at a dealership and view the window sticker on that truck via the internet.

 

i know what size engine and most of the stuff, but i'd like to know my gear ratio. I'm fairly confident its no lower than 3:73 but i'd just like to have a copy of the sticker

 

Your axle ratio and type are on the vehicle certification sticker which is on the driver's side door. Once you have the axle code do a search in this forum for: "axle code" and you will find the list of what the codes mean. Here is a short list:

Axle Codes

non-limited slip

27 – 3:31
19 – 3:55
26 – 3:73
25 – 4:10

limited slip

H9 – 3:55
B6 – 3:73
B5 – 4:10

I know a guy who makes replicas. I wonder if he can make a replica of an F-150 one... I'll show him this thread.

 

And just to let you know a dealer can get a REAL window sticker. (If they feel like it anyway)

 

mine 'dissapeared' before i got my truck brand new. went to the dealer and all they sent me was a letter with my options....thanks alot ford.
