Talking New Mods!

I finally got around to getting my longer driveshaft! The place who was doing the work was originally going to just lengthen mine but they ended up building a whole new driveshaft. I was getting a vibration at 60+ mph with my Rize 8" and 37s. The stock driveshaft just wasn't cutting it, it was almost 2" too short. I didn't feel too safe with my driveshaft sticking that far out of my transfer case and the vibration was really getting on my nerves. Got the new one back today and put it on just a few minutes ago. Its a night and day difference! I don't know but it seems like the shifts are also smoother! Total cost was $285

I also got the Airaid Jr put on, a present from my girlfriend. I noticed a gain in power all the way across the board and BETTER throttle response. It only takes about 15 minutes to put on. The hardest part about the install was getting the Airaid tube back into the stock airbox, which just goes to show you how easy the installation really was. Overall, I'd say its well worth the $130!

Any new mod is a good mod! Was your driveshaft a 1 or 2 piece?

Congrats on the new goodies! I am glad that I am not the only one that thought the Airaid Jr. made a good size improvement, and for what you get the price is awesome!

I would. Just find someone now and make sure they'll balance it.
