Daystar question

When installing a Daystar leveling kit you are supposed to remove the
pressed in studs on the upper mount and replace them with the
supplied bolts. Are the new bolts pressed in? What keeps them from spinning when tightening the nuts?

Really?

How are you getting the wrench in between the spring isolator and the mount with all that tension generated by the coil spring?

Yes the new studs are pressed in. When I used to install the daystar kits I would just flip the mounting plate upside down in a vice, put the new stud in it and hammer away on the bottom of it until it sat flush. The other choice is with it all disassembled get a couple flat washers put the stud through the hole then the washers and the nut on the other side and start tightening until it sits flush.

Thanks GotBeer.

I am actually removing my Daystar and installing the Bilstein lift shocks. I didn't do the install on the Daystar. But will be doing the Bilsteins. Do you happen to know if the longer studs are threaded all the way thus allowing me to reuse them once the top portion of the Daystar is removed?
