Just kidding. If your bed is empty and clean. You could have it done in about an hour or two.I just looked at your gallery, nice looking crew. I wish I had one like that when I was your age.

It's easy to do but I've replaced the velcro strip that sits on the tailgate top edge a dozen times. I didnt' use alcohol and if it's going to be exposed to "the elements" (I hate saying that) then absolutely do it. There are other pieces I've also had to replace, and come to think of it I did wipe the parts down with something other than alcohol and I had a few issues. No complaints, I love the bed and it still looks pretty good. I've dropped liquid fuel accelerant all over it...and I've burnt some of the carpet with a lantern...but the latter came first thank god
A possible fire hazard if you go camping a lot w/fires but I've been very fortunate and pressure washing seems to have removed the accelerant for the most part. I love the bedrug. You don't need an awl, just something to poke through the rug.
I don't know of anyone who has made their bedrug and I bought mine from kyleent @ FTW. It's a very easy install.

Install time is about an hour.
The best way to find the location of the bed tie down bolts is to leave them in their holes, and install the bedrug. Once you are done, go over the bolts with a sharp razor and cut a small X over the bolt head. Push the rug over them and they pop right out. Reinstall the tie downs and you are done.
I had one in my last truck for 3 years and I sold it when I traded that truck. It STILL looked brand new.
I have had this one installed for a few months now and no issues. It isn't actually rug, but plastic fibers.
