I think the color looks good, if you can get it i would go for it.

 

I found one that MSRPs for $41,905 and X-plan is $38,166.

 

So, is it in the garage yet?

 

we got two of them at the dealership this week. the headlights are still black, not color matched. and the interior painted items remain high gloss black. And as said the letters on the bed are raised chorme letters instead of vinal, and there is also trim item below the cab the length of the doors that is black with a strip of chrome. these where 07 screw's sticker was 43. d-plan was was 34-35. Lincoln also has a new vechile the mkz with this same paint. THey where ordered for the 07 internatioal auto show.

Amethyst? Why not call a purple truck purple. Back in my lowered mini truck days a friend in our club had a slammed purple s-10 blazer. We called him grimace, like from mcdonalds. Come on guys, it's purple.

 

I hate to argue with you, but this truck I am looking at has color matched headlights....they are not black. I didnt notice and tricm at the bottom of the doors...unless you are talking about the "show bars" under the doors. How can I get a D-Plan code...or what do I need to do to qualify for that price?

As for it just being purple....its not. It has a very simular effect as the old Mystic Cobras. It really does change from black to purple that dramaticaly. Only thing about it is if it ever had to be painted that would be a nightmare to match.

If I get the truck I am thinking 26s with chrome lips and Amythest painted centers...that should look awsome.

 

I believe D plan is the pricing used for dealer employees. A plan is for Ford employees. And X plan is for employees of companies that produce parts and services for Ford.

BTW, if this truck is sitting at Ford Town, the X plan on it is $38,800...about $100 below invoice.
