I used to own a 99 V-10 dually, so I had a little experience with them. They are good motors, and definately give more punch over the V-8, but it just doesn't feel like much compared to the LT. For a truck with 60K miles on it though, it shifts smooth and sounds great. No problems with it whatsoever, and it's never been in for service other than the 30K and winterization.

I started to read this, and I was trying to figure out why you would have sold your "toy" since you put in the under ground tank for your fuel and talking about how you couldn't wait to get the 4.56's and then do a few strip runs. I don't think that I was the only one wondering if you lost your mind..

The 250 looks like a nice truck, and is MUCH better suited for work while building your house. Not to mention I would hate to hear of the LT going into a ditch or getting into an accident during the winter.

But it's not REALLY an LT though, so you couldn't have traded in an LT.

Looks like a sweet truck, now go beat the **** out of it.

Yea, I thought about playing it up a while longer, but thought I'd like to keep some of you as my friends here, so I better let the cat out of the bag. I noticed Josiah hasn't replied yet, I hope he's not too pissed at me. It was too perfect with CrAz3D's posting asking if I had dropped the old truck.

I plan to work this truck fairly hard, and I'm not worried about getting a scratch or two on this one.

Will the new Whipple for the 05-06 V10 fit on the 2000? That's a mod I might have to look into!

They have a 99+ V10 supercharger, but I won't be getting it. I'll be hitting Whipple up for a charger on a mustang in the future. I plan to have them get me up to 15-18 pounds of boost right off the bat with that one.

What kind of numbers are you looking at with the Mustang and 18lbs? I've been eyeing the "coming soon" charger for the GT500. Waiting on it's release to see what it'll do.

Don't worry, the Mark LT is safe, and will probably be parked in the garage for most of the winter.

Sorry to mess with ya bud.
Sneaky!

You had me going too.

I'd really like to get it around 550RWHP. I think that is close to what Dustin was getting out of his mustang, but I never saw the numbers. It could of been more or less. If I could have it my way, I'd take that mustang off his hands. Maybe he needs some cold weather testing done on it.

Or are you planning on one?

My last car was an '05 mustang and had the kenne bell 2.6L on it. At 19 psi ( 3" upper and 8" lower) it made 580 rwhp on 93 octane. It got destroyed before I could do a race gas tune and take it to the track. I definately recommend it and you will have a smile from ear to ear. Nitrous is also fun on those cars and I went 11.92 on a 125 shot with an otherwise stock car. Sorry to go a little off topic here and congrats on the SD.

LMAO, don't know how I missed this one. I read that and I knew he was full of it. I mean who could spend all that time and money and dump a truck with a specially tune ROOTs style SC.

Congrats on the new purchase and keeping the truck.

Duke
