Every month i throw it in 4 high and swing down some dirt roads in my neighborhood. This time i switched it in at about 15mph like always. Went about 20ft and then a bang, Like it was not engaged all the way. Then operates like normal. Keeps doing it everytime. Where do I start?

You still under warranty, dealer it first.

 

Warranty. Its your hubs and IWE solenoid.

I had the same problem in my 2004. The dealer only wanted to replace the solenoid but I said BS that there was also damage to the hubs. Hopefully your dealer will work with you and it does it every time you engage it into 4WD.

 

I forgot to mention its out of warranty 55,000 miles. What is the IWE solenoid and where is it? Thanks,
