? on running wires into the cabin

Hi all.

I have an 06 Lariat Screw. I installed some driving lights on my bullbar. I tried to wire them in this weekend. This truck is built like a submarine! I could not find a single place to infiltrate the cabin from the front to run wires to a switch!!!! I guess I will have to resort to drilling a hole, but before I did that I wanted to check with members who have already installed auxiliary lights on their trucks.

How did you run the wires into the cabin for a switch? If you drilled a hole, where did you drill it?

Thanks in advance!!!
Robert

There is a gromet on just about every f150 97 and up, that is on the driverside by the brake booster/steering pump I can't remember which, anyway you can see it from inside the cab as well, just above the accellertor pedal behind the carpet. Hope this helps

I've run lots of wires into the cab on various mods. Click picture below and look around. The best routes are through the big grommet that would be where a clutch master cylinder would go if you had one, and up through the grommets in the door sill plates. Lots of pictures on the website below.

Myst,
AWESOME & informative site !! Great job. I have seen the grommet next to the master cylinder (where the clutch MC would have gone). I'll use that one. That seems to be the only option to get something into the cab from the front of the truck. Every other entry seems to be an actual connector.
