New guy here-Just picked up an '07

Hey guys, been sneaking around here for a few weeks now anticipating the purchase of the new truck and seems to be alot of good info around here. Heres the new truck Black '07 Screw FX2 Sport.

A little background- I have always had fast cars or trucks and 3 weeks ago an old fart caused me to total my '05 Mustang GT which had an endless amount of mods done to it with the big one being a Kenne Bell 2.6L supercharger at 19psi. It was at 580rwhp on pump gas and never got to go down the track. Well in any case I have always liked the new F150's and when I saw the new FX2 package I made up my mind instantly. I will try to keep modding to a minumum for a little bit but I doubt its going to happen.
Heres a couple pics of the old ride-The truck would have made a perfect tow pig for it.

The FX2's are painted the body color, I wanted to see what they would look like on my truck.

I know thats what was keeping me on the fence about them. I was thinking about using some 3M clear bra material and covering them. . just trying to brain storm some new ideas.

Welcome to F150online. Man, I love those new FX2's. I'm really glad to see they made them in the supercrew, I was under the impression that they were only going to be offered in the extended cab model. I've really been wanting something for side steps on my truck and I liked those painted bars the first time I saw them.

Sorry to hear about the mustang. I'd be crushed, especially with that kind of performance under the hood. That's the next ride I want to fix up.

Take a look under the supercharger for ideas if you plan to blow your truck. There are a couple of very good blowers out on the market, but most of their stock tunes limit them.

Welcome to the site!

After looking at your stang....I guarantee you'll have a Whipple on that truck within a year.

05roushmarklt- I will be picking your brain about your blower if you dont mind. Very nice numbers you have there. I have learned with the stang that tunes are becoming more and more important and effective so I know what you mean about the tunes being conservative on the "kits". So how exactly did you achieve your numbers?
