last month on mfg warranty and anti freeze question

this is the last month on my ford 3 yr mfg warranty (still have 4 yrs with full esp warranty thru dealer). Anyways i was going to have my spark plugs pulled and replaced under the mfg warranty but with only 22000 miles (i'm retired) the manager would not do it. Said it was a waste of time and money. He said they change plugs on the 5.4 all the time and have never had a problem with broken plugs following the tsb from ford. Also said he has same truck as me with same engine and if he thought it would be a problem he would have his men change his plugs. I was going to have the coolant flushed and replaced but they said that was a waste of time too as i have the GOLD coolant which is supposed to be good for 100,000 miles.???? He also told me not to put REGULAR anti freeze if ever low as it will turn to gel with the gold coolant and could blow a head gasket ?? What is this gold coolant anyways ?? Is it good for that long ?? I mentioned a small shudder i felt in the engine sometimes and they said they checked engine and nothing wrong. They did find that the motor mounts were not right and ordered me new ones that they will install for the shudder. Said it was a know defect in 2004 , 5.4 engine.I wasn't even going to mention the shudder as it was that small and only sometimes.
They said the plugs were fine and this would fix the shudder. They also reflased the pcm for a couple of updates. This really brought the engine to life when i drove it. I bought my truck from this dealer and it has run great from day one and they do great work. (had clutch packs replaced at 3000 miles,,only problem) I guess i was going in after 3 yrs and had expected to put out some money and they basically gave me my free oil change and told me everything was good and to go home until motor mounts come in. haha
Sorry about the long post, i don't write that often here, guess my question is what about the GOLD antifreeze and the warning not to add regular anti freeze to it. Thanks,, John,,Milwaukee, Wisconsin

You can't mix different types of anti-freeze. Plain and simple, just buy the motorcraft gold anti-freeze if you want to do it yourself. Also it should be changed on a 2 year basis.

Sounds as if you have a great dealer. Wish mine was as good.
