brake shudder TSB 05-21-19

I have noticed my truck begin to shudder during braking so I did a search and found out about this TSB. Thank you f150online. I have 35,000 miles on my truck and the pads just started squeeling so I need a brake job anyway. I called the dealer and scheduled an appointment for tomorrow morning. Is there anything I need to know before I go in? Also since the factory warranty is almost up should I ask them to check out anything else in particular? I'd like to get all the bugs fixed before the warranty runs out. However I have not had any problems with it yet. By the way I have a 2005 STX 4x2.

Does your third brake light leak?

They won't go searching for problems just because you're close to running out of warranty. If it ain't broke, they can't fix it.

They can not add on warranty work unless it is a safety issue.I you do not have a particular concern, they can not recommend any additional work that is covered under base warranty...Paul
