front bumper gap??

Hi all,

I've had my truck for about 2 months, it's a 2006 FX4. Just today while washing it, I noticed that my front bumper may not be aligned properly and/or the front bumper is not straight.

The passanger side gap is larger then the driver side gap. I didn't notice this until now, so it's not that bad where you have to know it's there to see it.

Here's a pic I took when I first got the truck, you can kinda see what I mean.

Is this "normal" as far as how the trucks are made, or is something not right with my truck?? I have my first oil change in 1500 miles so I'm going to ask the dealer then, but I was wondering if anyone else had similar issues??

I say it doesn't look too bad it probably does look worse in person. hell you still have your paper plate up front i'd take it back and ask them to fix it or make it look better.

Dude the same thing happened on my truck with the rear bumper. After a few months I noticed and took it down and had them fix it. I know I could have done it but it was 110 degrees and I wasnt interested in fixing it for them... Good luck.

My 02 had the same problem. My kids babysitter pointed it out. I must had been blind because that's all I could see after that when I would look at the front. One trip to the dealer and it was fixed.

it does look off. I think you should just have the dealer fix. Should be done easily
