I disagree with the spacer not effecting the ride. The Daystar kit is OK, but the inherent problem with such a kit is the preloading of the coil. Compressing the coil just increases the spring rate and definitely affects the ride. The AS spacer just sets on top of the strut which should not affect the coil as much, by far. I know that I sound like a rep for AS, but doing the research about a year ago lead me in this direction.

I hate to say it, theres something wrong. I had the EXACT same set-up on my last truck and it didn't look like that at all!

Do you guys think that when I tear it all apart again, I should also pull the bilsteins? I know that the bilsteins will be a little stiffer than stock, but as long as the bounce goes away in the front end I'm fine with that. Kevin said that it will be a little stiff, but I shouldn't have any problems with the bounce.

I just hate to pull the bilsteins and lose $200.00, but ride quality is important as well. Any advice.

I think the main problem is having a compressed coil with the stiffer shock. Installing a different leveling kit without preloading the coil will make the biggest difference. If it were me, I would leave the Bilsteins on (don't want to throw away $$$) and go with a 2 inch AS (or equivalent) instead of the 2.5. The shocks will lift slightly anyway, so shaving a 1/2 inch off of the spacer will probably get you to level. Good luck.

I have the 2.5 kit, everything else is stock. Does having aftermarket wheel and tires effect the angles just sitting?

The appt has been made for Saturday and the autospring kit has been ordered. Hopefully with a little luck everything will work out smooth. I'll keep you all updated.

Hey Jrbhc8...what type did you order from AS? 2.5" or 2" and tell us (me) how it looks underneath...I'm thinking about it.
