after i select the image i want to change my splash screen to if i press upload i get this message....

run-time error 8018
operation valid only when port is open

then it says it has encounterd a problem and needs to close. i tried uninstalling lightning and reinstalling it and the same thing happens. any ideas?

just bought edge, do they have any other issues for an 06 fx4 that you have encountered?

 

i cant change mine either it says to format 128xwhatever and i get to that then it says must be in black and white its begining to tick me off

 

Are you saving as monochrome? Monochrome is technically different then greyscale or black and white.

Monochrome is what you want. I haven't changed my splash screen since I first got it. I tried about a month ago and got the same message as the rest are getting and didn't bother finding a resolution. Maybe call Edge.

I haven't tried since I updated it. Do you think it's going to make me return it to stock to put the splash screen on?
