Quick question. Will the shaker 500 out of a mustang work in a 2006 f-150? would the steering wheel controls work? Thanks Dave

Yes, but you will lose the dimmer function on the HU. But it sounds great, i had it in my previous F150.

 

Look for my thread titled Shaker 1000. I wanted to retrofit that in my truck, the bass was mean (sounded like a home theatre and not like a rap concert)...very earthquake-like. I'm pretty sure you can dim it on the stang so it just sounds like a wire was forgotten...correct me if I'm wrong. Did you just have the headunit Anthony?
