Drop, Lift or Level??
Drop, Lift or Level??
Just bought a Black 2006 Ford F-150 Reg Cab 4wd. I want to put on some 22" rims but dont know how its gonna look with the back lifted 2.5". Anyone suggest anything? I think leveling the truck by lifting the front 2.5" will look to high for the rims so I'm thinking about spliting the diff between the front and the back by dropping the back and lifting the front. anyone have any experience with this issue??
I like the leveled look and prefer dropping the rear to make it set level, but my truck is a 2wd. I think the 2" front kit is the way to go on a 4wd IF you are going to fill the wheel wells with enough tire. Just my .02, but either way you do it POST PICS.
I'm sure this suggestion will be flame bait...
But here goes. Do the easiest thing first, remove the rear spacer blocks and level it that way. No alignment needed and it doesn't get your front suspension angles all out of kilter. If you don't like that then you can invest more time and money to do the more complicated things like autosprings, lift kit, etc.
