Just hit 3K miles and this is what needs to be fixed
Well, I just turned 3k on my ’06 Lariat Scab4X4. Below is what I need to get fixed.
- Noticed that my front bumper is not aliened correctly so I will need that fixed.
- The ½ door on the passenger side does not close correctly causing the larger door not to close right. Looks like the latch on the bottom for the ½ door was installed incorrectly.
- And I think the driver door needs adjustment too…
Funny thing is that I had 2 of the 3 problems with the ’04 Fx4 too. The bumper is a new issue.
Looks like a call to the dealer today since I am not as busy the rest of the week.

It seems you are aggravated at the dealer, its not like they made the truck. You can re-align the bumper yourself and even pull it up closer to flush out the body lines. And the SCAB rear doors are a touchy subject as if you ***** hand the door shut you get problems. So go slam 'em!
my bumper is not aligned correctly either the passenger side hangs about 1/2" lower... sux to have a 40k truck and have it look this way. also driver side door<s> leaking took it to dealer so far so good but the *******s that fixed scratched the plastic on the inner doors.

I saved $12k by buying an XLT, according to that math.

im at 30k what needs to be fixed on mine
1)front bumper needs to be repainted after being hit in a parking lot
2)the cover over the latch on the rear door fell off after someone used it as a grab handle
haha yeah dude if you dont close the rear door all the way the front doesnt close all the way either but wont throw adoor ajar code, but easily fixed by closeing the door harder, it would be nice to have soft close doors like on my moms bmw 750i but thas a $90k car not a truck, slam em

Good luck in getting everything squared away in any case.
My dealer supplies a loaner if they keep your vehicle for more than a day.I haven't needed a loaner yet so I don't know what kind of vehicle they give you.Probably a Focus
but anything is better than nothing.
Sounds like your truck was built late in the afternoon on a Friday.

didnt say i paid 40k for it but the sticker shows 39,800 regardless its too much damn money for it not to be perfect at least from a visual aspect.

The problem is not the clips, what happens is there is 2 screws with flat washers that hold it on. The plastic under the washers that holds the cover broke, now the "molded" holes are too big for the washers to hold it on.
And you can't install larger washers because of the size of the mold.
