Question Ford F-Mark LT?

This will be my first post here so I will first give a little info about myself. I just bought a 2004 f-150 super crew Lariat with the flow thru console floor shift sliding rear window and sunroof. I am not new to the forum scene as I have been on the forums at fsc.com because I previosly drove a 96 chevy 2500 ext. cab L/B.

Now before I test drove the truck I have now I would have never thought about a Ford so I guess their ads have worked. (ya know the commercials)

First off I just wanna say its great to see the f150online site is very informative much like the fsc site. And I have to say that I am so glad i made the switch to this truck (even if my grandpa cut me from the will )

Any way here is the question and I have searched plenty so I am hoping I didn't miss this answered already.

Is it possible, without hardcore modding to put a Mark LT grill on the new style f-150's?

Any info is appreciated, and of course if I can help anyone out in some way let me know.

Happy Ford owner, way up north BC Canada

Kyle

Yes you can add the LT grill to the new f150s! It is also supposed to be a clean easy install. I love the way those grills look. Welcome to the site!

Welcome to the site and hello to a fellow B.Cer.

SoundPer4mance did it on his F-150. He doesn't post here anymore but if you an advance search and put "LT grille" in the keyword field and SoundPer4mance in the "Seach by username" field, you should come up with something.
Here's a pic of his.

Bienvenidos a F150Online.com...

Anyway, yeah it can be done, but IMO it looks tacky. I do not like the MarkLT much at all.

Welcome to the site. I was on FSC for years too. I've changed my grille, and it's really simple. It just takes patience. I used several small standard screwdrivers as wedges.
