Bought New BFG AT 305/65/18 with 2" or 2.5 Spacers?

Well I bought my new tires for my truck. Now I need some info.

1. Can I use just 2" spacers or do I need 2.5"
2. Do you think they will fit on stock FX4 18x7 Rims
3. How bad will it rub if they fit the factory rim

Specs:
LT305/65R18/E
Rim Size 8.5 - 11
Tire Height 33.7

BTW Factory FX4 18" Weighs 24.7lbs on my UPS scale

Thanks
Ralph

i dont think anyone has info on those tires since there still new. i have the 325/65/18 on my stock wheels so the 305/65/18 should fit A LOT better. i recomend the 2.5 leveling kit at first it might seem higher in front but it will come down after a couple miles and sit level.

Not one to burst any bubbles or throw a negative spin here, but shouldn't you have looked into these issues before you bought them?

I would recommend 2" level kit.

Mind i asking, whats the price ??

Enjoy your new toys!

You will be fine with the stock rims. I have the 325/60/20 BFG KO's on the factory 20's with the 2" AS leveling kit. We also need pics of the new tres!!!

I think the 2 inch spacer will be more than enough. You can 285s or 295s with the stock suspension on 4WD trucks.

I agree. You can fit them with your OEM 7.5 inch wide wheels and a 2 or 2.5 inch spacer.

I too would like to see how these tires look. when I finnally get me some rims it looks like they will be 18's. that size seems perfect. what kind of price did you pay for those? look foreword to pics of those tires.

Well pics will be up tomorrow I am to tired tonight. The spacers are in and the tires fit great no rubbing. I went with 2.5 AS spacers. I can see why people say things about the ball joint angles. You think someone would make a upper tubular arm with a drop: Any how only issue I had was I broke the sway bar bolt on the pass side. Kinda weird but oh well. It looks great now I need a alignment.

I'd always recommend the 2" over the 2.5" spacer. Some trucks with the 2.5 almost give it the butt-heavy look.
