I passed a F150 the other night that had some mods, one of which was the headlights. They had a cover that was a round bulge that protruded in the middle. The lights themselves were a very small light, about the size of a fifty cent piece and it was a whiter light. It did not seem to luminate very far. Were these the projection lights I have heard about or something else? Just curious, thanks.

 

Check ebay; I think I saw what you are describing a few weeks ago.

It was not a Saleen truck but could be just the lights. he had an after market grille and some 22' wheels. had some sticker in the window, but at night, I was unable to make it out for sure. May have been a Jet tuner. I have never seen lights that had a "bug eye" shape to them.

 

What, you didn't take a picture? There are a few goofy looking headlights out there for our trucks. From ebay...



I don't like any of them personally. I couldn't see any with a bulge though.

 

I was going down I-20 at night. He thought I was trying to race him, I was just trying to look at his lights. At least til I decided to blow is stuff in the weeds. These had a pop out bulge about 4" in diameter in the plastic cover.

 

I guess he should have spent that mod money on an edge instead.
