eBay searches

Sorry if this is in the wrong place...

Anyone have ANY luck searching on eBay? They used to have a little Make, Model, year, etc box on the left side of the car & truck parts page. Nice and simple, putting Ford, F150, F-150 and 2005 - 2006 used to yield about 3500 items. Try it now on the advanced search...676614 items and the 1st ten were camaro parts

I'm not looking for anything in particular, just screwing round at work trying to keep my head off the desk I'm definitely not gonna browse 676614 items, that's insane.

If anyone has any tricks let me know!

Yeah I realize I had the wrong category selected. If you change it part and accessory it returns 676419 results including a chevy steering wheel. They must be having issues.

Currently they are having some problems with the search function. They are aware of it and are working on it but no word on when they believe it will be fixed. It has been screwed up for about 5-6 days now. Keep checking back.

I just type in what I'm looking for in the search bar and come up with it right away. Say I'm looking for some HD tails. I type in 2006 harley f150. I come up with this. http://search.ebay.com/search/search...06+harley+f150 A little way down there they are. It is too easy. I'm confused.

I wasn't looking for anything in particular, I usually just browse around once every other week, you never know what you'll find. I got my 05 and my gf's 00 that I look for stuff. It was a boring slow day at work, so I was looking to kill some time and who knows maybe the next mod idea will magically appear and the credit card will get a little workout.

ieee_raider, your search criteria worked, thanks! It's crazy how things show up with the slighest changes, misspellings, etc. I found some FX flares a few weeks ago entering wacky stuff that otherwise didn't appear.

Personally, I start with the following (which could use a little tweaking). This is my 'old' saved Favorites search ... which removes a few of my own unwanted results. Adjust as necessary as that minus sign () is quite specific. You get the point.

+ford +(f-150,f150) +(04,2004,05,2005,06,2006,07,2007) -(running,nerf,beanstalk,beanstock,literature,poste r,posters,condenser,radiator,17",antenna,bars,leve ling,jada,bug,rollpan,svt,splash,keyless,visors,pr omo,brochure,tshirt,clock,phone,diecast,1/18,1:18,1/64,1:64,hallmark,1:24,1/24,t-maxx,daystar)
