I asked the service manager at the Ford dealer (take it for what it's worth) about the issue. He said there was nothing to worry about. The plugs that come in the truck are rated to go 100,000 miles and if the mechanic knows what he's doing, there should never be a problem getting them in or out.

 

It's kinda funny how the store lists them as being for a SCrew, but the application listing says they're for a GT. Hmmmm, makes ya wonder...
