Question Tailgate Spoiler

Does anyone know of a tailgate spoiler that is similar to the chevy that would fit the '04 F-150 and match the bedrail caps, design and color? Something that's flat on top and rugged enough to slide items over into the bed? Something besides those cheesy ones for sale at Moss Motors F150 accessories?

Thanks
Bryan

They look good, Idk why people dont like them. If you ever seen them on a truck in real life you'd say "hey, that acutaly does look kind of good"

Why would I be joking? Obviously some people like them and apparently there's a market for them since accessories mfg's are selling them to F150 owners.. I simply asked if anyone knew of a better quality one. I wouldn't put one of those cheesy ones on my truck.. But I like the factory tailgate spoiler on the Chevy,, despite it taking several years of evaluation to make my decision about them.. They're common.. Factory equipment, somewhat tough, and they look sporty without looking tacky.

Naaah... I'm not into those whale tails or big wings and the like.. I prefer a clean, factory look..

I'm wondering if the Chevy spoiler will fit the F150? I saw a Dodge Ram the other day with one on it, I swear it was the Chevy spoiler.. and it looked good.. The only concern I have is the color matching. The Ford bed rails and trim color is more greyish, and the chevy is definately black. I think the tailgate width is probably the same, or very close.

I don't think it would provide much protection for the tailgate except for shielding it from scratches.. I tossed a ladder in my bed and it scratched the crap out of that factory tailgate cap.. You'd think that piece would be a bit tougher.. Like maybe the same material Motorola used to make the old startac phone.. which is practically indestructible...

The tailgate spoilers look awesome, but not on a stock vehicle. You at least need rims and it would look better with a custom roll pan. Roush makes one as well.

You can buy the factory tailgate cap for $15, just replace it when you need to, snap off, snap on!

do they just snap on? and what about the bed caps do they just snap on as well? or is it like the old body style the only way to get them off is to break them...

Yeah they just snap on, don't know about the side rails as I have a tonno but looking at the factory service manual it looks the same.

Does anyone make aftermarket bed rails for our trucks? It seems like I only see the stock ones. Even the Roush trucks look like they have the basic black rails. Mine are a little scratched up and I'd like to get something else.
