First real mod installed...

Or it could be my 3rd if you count the step bars and GPS Navigation. Anyway, I bought myself a birthday present which arrived this past Thursday. I installed it yesterday.

I had originally planned on going with the K&N FIPK, but after reading several threads on here and the Troyer Performance page, I went with the Airaid. It was a very easy install and I am very impressed with it so far. Right now, I'm too busy keeping my foot in it to get any gas mileage figures. But the increased throttle response is noticeable, as is the sound coming from the engine compartment.

The only negative thing I can think of to say right now is there are a couple of bolts that are difficult to get to (if you have big ham hock hands like I do) since they are underneath the air box and behind part of the brake system.

I think I'm gonna get the same intake in the near future. But right now funds are tight and I think my next mod is going to be the Edge Evo.
