I finally replaced my busted foglamp today (Thanks Impact9 for the info) and I noticed that the stock foglight and the replacement are slightly different. The stock one has some type of reflector plate/heat shield above the bulb and the new doesn't. It has the brackets in there to hold it but I couldn't get the lamp open to put the old plate in the new lamp. What does this thing do or do I need one in my replacement lamp?
