Need help!

My truck is at the dealer for a leaky front diff. seal and the famous 4-3 downshift hesitation. 2 days its been there and service writer calls and tells me they have to order the seal and that there is nothing wrong with the tranny that they have done everything that ford is going to pay them for........that the hessitation is probley due to my aftermarket air-raid intake. BS!!! I read a post here last Sat. with the new version update flash for the computers in the 06's to be updated to to correct this problem. I cant find the post now so if anyone knows what that reflash version # is please help me out....Id love to make this guy eat it! I have been searching for a couple hours and still cant find the thing......should have bookmarked it before.
Thanks, Gordon

I have an XCal2 and it remains hesitant to downshift when I would prefer it to, anybody else feel this way.

Found It

Heres what i found and presented to the service writer.

Service Calibration Update - Hesitation On Acceleration On Downshift - 5.4l 3v
TSB
06-19-3 SERVICE CALIBRATION UPDATE - HESITATION ON ACCELERATION ON DOWNSHIFT - 5.4L 3V

Publication Date: September 11, 2006

FORD: 2006 F-150
LINCOLN: 2006 Mark LT

ISSUE:
Some 2006 F-150 and Mark LT vehicles with 5.4L 3V engines may exhibit a hesitation during a driver commanded 4-3 transmission downshift.

ACTION:
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using IDS release B44.12 or higher. This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2006.7 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraft.com.

According to them,(BB Motors) they have no record of anything being sent to them for this SOOOOO my truck still wants to die each time I kick it in the ***! (invoice says unable to duplicate but truck does have aftermarket intake and exhaust which will affect preformance!) Cant wait to fill out the customer satisfaction survey on this one!
