Ordered EDGE

just ordered the Edge Evo from discountpowerparts for $333!

cant wait.

so how does it hook up, like where do i run the connector cable through and all?

i expected that, haha....by the way LOVE the truck, im going to get mud grapps as my next tire, probably do a bunch of burn outs when i get edge :-P

Its really easy takes about 10 min to install. It runs from your dash through your panel on side of dash down to the connector if that makes any sense

kinda, guess ill find out

so, i have to wait about 500 miles to run level 3 right? thought thats what ive read many times.

I've never ran anything but level 3 from day 1 with no problems.

where is discount power parts located? i couldnt find it on their website. trying to figure out how long it will take to get here haha

Unless you have a brand new engine, there is no reason to wait. To run level 3, you need to make sure you have 91 or 93 octane. You can print the manual on Edge's web site. Read it before it arrives. I did that and now have a copy in my house and one in the truck, if I ever need it. I think DPP is in PA. I got mine in Texas on the second business day. They use 2nd day shipping.

I think that they are out of PA. if I remember right. It took 3 days to get mine the 800+miles to wisconsin.

awesome so hopefully mine wil be here tommorow

im going to be running level 2 since that is what most people seem to be running and happy with. is that the transmission tune? or what?

Level 2 is a little more than a shift program. You can customize it. Level 1 is just a shift program. If you ever run level 3, you will have a difficult time returning to level 2.

haha gotcha

yeah i need to find out my tires in MM and everything. and then program it in

is it how tall the tire is?? or the circumference of the tire?

ive already done plenty of burnouts njo problem with these 4.56, well some resistence lol, but with the edge it will be alot simpler.
