Just ordered the edge programmer for my truck

Hey guys, just wanted to share that I just bought the edge evolution programmer for my 04 fx4! With the nasty throttle lag my 04 has I think this was a wise purchase. I can't wait to get it it. I bought it from discountpowerparts.com for 330 shipped. Do I need to load any updates before install? Is there anything else I need to know about the edge and my truck?

As with any major electrical component, read the manual in full so as not to screw up your trucks computer, plus you might find out some features that you didnt know it had. P.S. ordering mine tommorow

edge tuner

hey glad to see I am not the only one who got the edge instead of troyers xcal2. I love the thing, no need for an a-pillar and gauges now. Everything is right in the edge. I am all over the level 3 setting. What did you do to custom tune it? I am unsure of a dyno in vegas to get a/f numbers and put more into it. let me know what ya did.

I down loaded the upgrades before I installed mine, that was a couple of months ago. I have not downloaded since. I am running level 3 and loving it.
