Are the silverstars known for catching on fire?

I know what you mean, I had a 2001 F-150, good thing i didn't get in a frontal accident.
Funny thing is 11 months after owning my 04, i had a guy pull in front of me while was doing about 40-45 mph. I hit him head on, hardly felt it inside the cab.

thats not a 40mph hit head on in your truck as pictured here...

45mph hit and all you lost was a bumper and bent the frame a little?

this is what a 45mph hit is like in a new f-150 head on...

That was 45 mph?? What did he hit? Looks like he hit something else that was going 45 mph possibly in a head on which would increase the impact dramatically. I hit a camry that was pretty much stopped in the middle of the road between his drivers door and fender and did have a split second to hit the brakes. The frame had to be replaced on my truck. All in all $ 12,000.00 worth of damage.
The Camry took alot of the impact as well, and im sure it is in the junkyard.
And by the way, I WAS going 40mph, I was there, you were not.

It hit a bus going in the opposite direction.

The bus had alot more kenitic force behind it as well. So it was probably more like 120mph crash. Some of you collegue educated kids figure this one out.

LMAO Mountainqueer. . The damn F-150 hit a bus, its a lot different than hitting a Camry. Sorry to break it to you. I like how you showed the front shots but left out the side shots that show how well the cab is in tact. Lets put your Mountaineer in that situation and see how it does!

I had a 55 mph head on collision with no damage at all...

The fruit bat didn't fare so well.

At least it wasn't a bus
